Franchisee Support
Pier 49 Pizza Inc. is committed to being a strong and helpful strategic partner with all licensees. Since our inception over 15 years ago, we have worked hard developing a proven system. This system has been refined and improved many times. This improvement process continues to this day. It is our goal and commitment to become a “world class” company!
Our support process begins the minute you show interest in becoming a member of the Pier 49 Pizza family. From the moment the Uniform Franchise Offering Circular (UFOC) is sent out, our staff is available to answer questions and assist you. Your first step is to thoroughly read and study the UFOC for a minimum of 10 working days. We recommend you obtain legal and accounting advice during this process. If you decide to proceed and are approved, a franchise agreement will be sent to you. Once this agreement is signed by all involved parties, and the franchise fee of $20,000 has been paid in full, the Pier 49 support team will kick into full gear. Available support includes:
• Business plan development.
• Site selection expertise.
• Lease negotiation assistance.
• Financial sources including SBA approved.
• Architectural sources including prototypical set of plans.
• Contractor sources.
• Construction assistance during build out phase.
• Interior Decorator.
• Equipment and smallware lists and suppliers.
• Cabinet/counter sources.
• Marketing plan development.
• Four weeks initial training including manager certification and personnel/systems management.
• Complete inventory lists including national pricing contracts for food and beverages.
• Other expertise, support and assistance as needed.
Ongoing Support
Pier 49 Pizza is proud to offer 24 hour a day telephone support to all franchisees. Pier 49 Pizza also has the ability in most situations to provide by request on-site support and assistance. Pier 49 Pizza usually conducts monthly franchise planning, coordinating, training and motivational sessions. All franchisees are welcome to attend these sessions and learn more about “the Pier 49 Pizza system”, the food industry in general, marketing trends and success oriented strategies.
Information Services
Pier 49 Pizza Inc. has contracted with an outside company to handle information technology needs. They provide point of sale training/support, installations, upgrades and general system expertise.
Quality Management
Serving excellent pizza which is both unique and delicious is one of the main priorities at Pier 49 Pizza. We take great pride in the quality of our pizza and work very hard to maintain it. In order to provide high, consistent quality throughout the franchise system, management tools are provided including periodic site evaluations and system training with hand outs. Site evaluations are discussed with the operator and adjustments are made if necessary.

Pier 49 Pizza Inc. provides considerable financial expertise and support including;
